What is the plugin you are using to generate the contact form? Does it have a support forum where you can ask questions?
The only plugin I have is the WooCommerce
Please forgive my ignorance in this matter, I had a ‘web site builder and designer’ do this site for me but haven’t been able to get hold of him since, so i’m a little out of my depth on this, sorry.
No apology necessary 🙂
So if you aren’t using a plugin for the contact form, then it’s probably written in the page. This can work.. but using a plugin is MUCH more effective.
Here is what I use… and it’s great!!

So, if I install the plugin above, will it take care of itself?
Well, I’m not entirely sure what you are currently working with.
But, after installing the plugin, you will need to create a new contact form. Then, it will provide you a shortcode to insert on any post/page to display the form.
So, usually people create a page called “Contact”, and add the shortcode to that page.
You will also probably want to remove any code from the contact form that’s not working properly.
Ok, I added the contact plugin that you suggested and still nothing coming from it. I then tried another contact form, and still nothing from that. Any other suggestions or any staff that can help me out please, I’m in desperate need of this fixing as I have some big exposure coming up soon and my site needs to be 100%
Did you create the “new contact form”? Installing the plugin alone won’t fix the situation. Read again what Josh said, and take your time in following all the steps. I recommend you save your current page to another name (Contact-old, for instance), then make it non-Public. Next create a new Contact page and insert the short code into it. Of course, again, that requires setting up the form plugin, as described here.
Yes I created a new page that was called something different, then I added the plugin and typed the short-code into it but still nothing. I have however recently discovered coding into my theme that is for a contact page, I’m worried if I delete this coding I may do damage to the rest of the site, but I am now thinking this could be the issue.
Since you have a commercial theme it is hard for anyone here to troubleshoot. You will find better support at the theme’s support forum, https://www.elegantthemes.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=61&sid=92cd85f73abcd571bd45a00639580b46
It is very likely a problem with your host disabling PHP Mail functionality or some other spam control method. You should also contact them.
Thanks, will get right on it and hopefully have some luck!
Guys I want to say thanks for all your help. Problem has been solved so thanks again for everything. Solved by something at the server end of the domain hosts. :oD
