Constant Contact Won’t Connect

    Keep getting emails about connecting Constant Contact form, but when I try to do so, it just is an endless loop.

    Here is the debug log:

    [2026-8-31, 20:00] API.INFO: Refresh token attempt failed in get_api_token. manual_reconnect [] []

    Hi swisswheaties,

    Sorry to hear you’ve been having connection issues.

    Would you please try the following steps:

    • Deactivate the Constant Contact Forms plugin from the WP Dashboard > Plugins screen.
    • Reactivate Constant Contact Forms
    • Retry establishing a connection to constant contact forms
      • Dashboard > Contact form > Connect Now
      • Click the Connect button
      • A page will open with your authorization code or a login screen if you are not already logged into Contstant Contact.
      • Click the Copy Code button.
      • Head back to your WP Dashboard and navigate to Contact form > Settings > Account
      • Pase the authorization code into the Auth code and state field, then click the Save Changes button.
      • You should now be connected.

    We are working on improving the reliability of the connection to Constant Contact on an upcoming release.
