constant attempts using ?_wfsf=unlockEmail

Trying out your plug but my entire server is getting bogged down with login attempts. Since i’ve activated Wordfence i’m getting lots of POST attempts like the below –

POST /wp-login.php HTTP/1.1.
<form method=”POST” action=”http://www.independ.net/?_wfsf=unlockEmail”&gt;

I’m sure this is slowing down the site & sever but how can i stop the malicious, repeating attacks?
