Let me give you a brutally honest opinion: if you are looking for a plugin that will be there when you need, forget Miniorange / Xecurify. Even if you are a PAID customer.
My experience is: HOURS (H-O-U-R-S) of delay in an asynchronous chat by email. That simply doesn’t work when your company is in urgent need.
I sent an email yesterday at 10:40 PM. I was up until 4 am. Nothing. Their first (and only) reply was 6h50 am (8 hours after). Its been 4 hours that I replied and no answer.
Seems like they answer in some time zone that I don’t know what it is, despite mentioning NY and California in their website. (I’m in Brazil, 1 hour ahead of NYC, and the quickest – a.k.a. “less slow” – response I got in the past was late at night, for sure late at night in NY as well.)
Anyway, I’m shopping for another supplier. It is not doable to have a product that you can’t count when your business is in need.
4 stars for the plugin (all in all, something is broken, that’s why I need support)
1 star for the support. (And doesn’t make sense to have a fairly good product if you don’t offer support in a reasonable time.)UPDATE: after setting a chat window in my own website I called their representative for a chat when they accessed my website. I guess it took them 5 or 10 minutes to find the issue so I could fix it.
Xecurify: adopt live chatting for paid customers. It will save you and your customers a lot of money and time.
