Consent Records Retention Period – Configurable?

Thank you for making Pressidium available to the WordPress community. It is an excellent cookie consent plugin.

I have enabled “Record consents”, but I cannot find a way to set how long those records are retained. The cookie-expiration setting appears to control the visitor’s consent cookie, while “Clear Records” deletes all stored records.

Could you add a configurable retention period for consent records, with automatic scheduled deletion of records older than that period? It would be helpful to see the proposed deletion date in the settings and to ensure the cleanup preserves any records still needed to demonstrate a visitor’s current consent or withdrawal.

This would let site owners apply a documented retention policy without manually deleting the entire consent history or maintaining custom database code.

If this is already possible, could you point me to the relevant setting or documentation?
