Consent button and internal email design
-
Hello Jordi, how are you?
I have a couple of things I’d like to discuss with you. Maybe they’re already possible in the plugin and I just don’t know about them.
The first thing is a client approval checkbox. For example, in Contact Form 7 you can add a consent checkbox for the client to approve your privacy policy, which is important for GDPR and CCPA compliance.
Is this already possible in your plugin?
Another feature that could be useful is including information about where the form was submitted from.
In Contact Form 7, you can include details in the email notification about which page the form was submitted from. This helps me understand which pages are performing better and converting more visitors. It can also include additional information such as the client’s IP address and the device they used to submit the form.
If it’s possible to add something like this to your plugin, I think it would be very helpful.
The last thing is the email design.
In Contact Form 7, you can customize the layout of the email notification that is sent when someone submits a form. This is important, especially when building websites for clients, because they see these emails every day and they look much more professional.
For example, when I receive a contact form submission, the email includes my logo at the top, followed by the client’s information. At the bottom, it shows the page the form was submitted from, the client’s device, and their IP address, followed by the website’s signature or branding.
It creates a stronger brand identity, and clients really love it.
I think it would be helpful if you added a section for this directly in the plugin dashboard (not in the Gutenberg block, I mean in the plugin settings).
That way, there could be a global interface where we can manage the email template for all the forms already installed on the website.
What do you think?
