"Connection Was Reset" – Very Old Issue

    I am using wordfence for quite a while now and I think it is awesome.

    One of the most consistence issue with wordfence is, it have the whole Hosting account (server?) down when an operation becomes un-responsive.

    Say, Restoring a file, See how the file has changed etc. When this kinds of operation becames un responsive all sites on the hosting account gets “Connection was reset” error on browser.

    I can’t tell if the whole server is effected because I am on godaddy shared hosting. But I believe it is worth looking into.

    We often get blamed for issues that aren’t related to us. Please check your web server error log. A common cause of this is database table corruption or where the Db is unavailable for some reason.
