Connection issues 3 sites

    Well it been a bad month for this I’ve lost all 3 website connections to Metricool. I recover 1 site whosaidphotography.com by uninstalling and reinstalling and then running the connection function and that seemed to work.
    However the other 2 sites still won’t connect. 2 weeks ago I lost connection to phonePhotoGuide.ca I tried the uninstall-reinstall with no luck so I left the plugin uninstalled waiting to the next version
    This weekend I lost the connection to CanadianSuperShop.ca tried the uninstall-reinstall with no luck
    So at this present time only 1 of the 3 sites is working.

    CanadianSuperShop.ca is an elementor site
    PhotoPhotoGuide.ca is a Kadence Blocks and Gutenberg.

    Ideas? Beside disabling all my plugins?

    Hi @bobwild,

    Glad to hear that the reinstall already helped on one of your sites!

    The usual (re)connection steps are to:

    – Open Metricool in WP Admin
    – Then login/sign in (note: use the “Sign In here” link (top right) when you’re logging into an existing account, and not the registration form to create a new account)
    – After the Sign In step, choose the brand for that site. If you still see the second “Select a brand” step on the other two sites, that’s the step that you’d still have to finish for the sign-in to complete.

    On the sites which are not connected yet, could you tell me what you see after trying another Sign in via the Metricool WordPress plugin? Is this the brand selection screen, do you see any errors, or does it not redirect you back to WordPress after signing in?

    I get the dreaded – Something went wrong. Please try again or leave a support message
    I’ve confirmed that the userID and password is the same one I use to log into the web app

    @jarnovos – after some playing around I finally got both sites to connect. YAY!
    1 site I will admit was my fault – I was using the connect to a new site, not the connect to an exciting site hidden at the top right. 🙂
    2nd site how and why it connected I’m not sure – it wouldn’t connect through the website, only through the application.
