Connecting to a different database

    Hi,

    I’m trying to connected to both WordPress database and another database. The other database store events, videos, pictures, etc. Is there a way to do it?

    It seems that if I establish the connection to the other database in the header, WP override the connection and I can’t display the events, videos and pictures in the page.
