I’m trying to add a unit by URL (this idea list http://a.co/2vcZnja)

I have entered by access keys and the Authentication tab of the plugin displays “Connected” status. However, when viewing the unit, I still get the error “MissingClientTokenId: Request must contain AWSAccessKeyId or X.509 certificate.”

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

I’m not familiar with that error. In order to determine whether it is due to your access keys, can you try testing API requests with Scratch Pad (http://webservices.amazon.com/scratchpad/index.html)?

I tested and the access keys work, I did an ItemSearch and it returns the items I searched for.

But now the unit seems to work. I guess the access keys were not working immediately for some reason.

    Hmm,

It’s good to know that your units are working now!

The plugin caches API request responses even for the one done in the Authentication section that checks connectivity with the Amazon API server. I can only guess that some old status has been shown in the Authentication section. If that is the case, clearing caches in the Cache section may help.
