• Hi,

I noticed an accessibility issue with the wpDiscuz toggle. The enabled and disabled states seem to rely mainly on color, which can be difficult to distinguish for users with color vision deficiencies.

I also checked the input in the browser developer tools, but its value remains 1 in both toggle positions.

Can you confirm which position represents enabled and disabled? For example, does the circle on the left mean disabled and the circle on the right mean enabled?

It would also be helpful if the toggle had a clearer indicator that does not rely on color alone.

    Hi,

Yes, that’s correct. The toggle works as follows:

    • Circle on the left — Disabled
    • Circle on the right — Enabled

The current toggle uses color as the primary visual indication, so we understand your concern that this may not be sufficiently clear for users.

Thank you for pointing this out. We’ll take this into consideration for future updates.
