We’ve been using this plugin for ages, without any problem. With your latest version, 2.7.10, we faced an issue with Yoast Premium SEO plugin. More precisely, when editing (and possibly when creating a new) listing, the Snipet Preview tab, in Yoast box, refuses to show up. If I upload your previous version (2.7.9) everything returns back to normal. Yoast is already aware of the issue.

@sv1cec Can you do us a favor and open this as a bug report over at our GitHub?

If you’ve uncovered a Bug or have a Feature Request, we kindly request you to create an Issue on our GitHub Repository at https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/issues/new. Please be very specific about what steps you did to create the issue you’re having and include any screenshots or other configuration parameters to help us recreate or isolate the issue.

This keeps all the information in the right place and I’m not sure if the Snippet preview is only in the Yoast premium version (or in the free version), so this helps us get access to it for testing for compatibility.

    Thanks!

I just discovered this same problem and will go over to GitHub.

Topic: White text in Text editor with Yoast and Pods active

I’m having the same problem as in this thread …

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/white-text-on-white-background-in-the-text-editor/

    … except I don’t have WPML installed.

Problem: When activating Yoast 9.2.1, the text editor (not the visual one) displays white text on white background. This happens on multiple sites upon Yoast activation.

Discovery: When Pods and Yoast are activated at the same time, this problem appears.

Please check your developer console for errors, if you are getting the error “isSavingPost” this is being patched right now in Pods, we’re pushing out 2.7.11 to correct this.

Just ran into this same issue. Will be looking out for the 2.7.11 update. Thanks for the quick updates.

@sv1cec @jcollier @drivenfaroff: We pushed out Pods 2.7.11 yesterday which includes the fix for that issue. Please let us know if you’ve patched and are working properly again. Thanks!

Sorry I didn’t follow the right procedure, but I wasn’t sure who the … culprit was.

Anyway, I just upgraded to pods 2.7.11 and it looks as if the problem was fixed.

    Thank you!

No worries @sv1cec, the important thing is the issue is fixed 😉

Honestly, when it comes to plugin conflicts, it doesn’t really matter which one is causing the issue, we often can get in touch with the other software developer faster, but having a GitHub ticket allows us a common place for all of us to reference and to point people for resolution if it’s not as simple to fix.

    Have a great weekend!

@jimtrue Many thanks for the quick and prompt response. And many thanks for an excellent, trouble-free plugin!

    Have a great weekend too!

Yes, fixed. Thank you so much!
