I like how your plugin changes the theme of the contact form. However, there is a conflict with the WP Protect Content plugin + Firefox (works with Chrome) and I hope you can resolve the conflict. I couldn’t find any other reports of this conflict.

When all 4 options in WP Protect Content are selected, the form animation stops working and content cannot be entered into the form when using Firefox (but works with Chrome). When Disallow Copy of Content is deselected, the contact form seems to work properly with FireFox.

Would you please have a look to see if your plugin can be made to work when all options in WP Protect Content are selected and viewed with FireFox (current version: 65.0.1)?

    Hi @t5montecarlo

Honestly I would not recommend using a plugin that disables right click or basic web functionality like highlighting text.

If someone wants to copy your content, this plugin isn’t going to stop them, it is nothing but a slight annoyance to them (and a large annoyance to your well-meaning users).

E.g. even when you’ve got all those options enabled, I can just view your page’s source to copy any text I would like to copy (simply put view-source: at the front of the URL). From there I can copy any text I like, get links directly to your images, etc. Even the plugin’s “prevent F12 developer tools” option is easily bypassed by opening the dev tools before going to the page.

In summary, it’s easy to get around these protection measures, but it degrades the experience for the rest of your site’s viewers. At minimum I recommend simply turning off the option that stops your form working on Firefox, but really my recommendation is to get rid of the plugin entirely.

    Thanks,
    Angus

Thank you, Angus. I will consider deactivating the WP Protect Content plugin.
