Subscribers on our website have the option to upload / edit their avatars via the plugin Simple Local Avatars.

This plugin allows the upload of avatars via the user admin page. The avatars are then displayed on the user admin page and on WordPress comments.

However when WPDiscuz is activated the avatars do not display on the user admin page or in the WPDiscuz comments section.

When WPDiscuz is disabled all of the avatars are displayed again.

Please advise how to resolve the plugin conflict.

    Hi @supertrooper2,

Please note the wpDiscuz just uses WordPress native get_avatar() function to display the avatars.
Please delete all caches press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend and check again

Deleting all caches and pressing CTRL+F5 (twice) does not resolve the issue.

It’s clear that there is a plugin conflict because disabling WPDiscuz resolves the problem.

Is it possible that the WPDiscuz get_avatar() function is overriding the avatar settings in the Simple Local Avatars plugin?

Would you be able to take a look if I create an admin account for you?

    Please help.

Problem has been resolved by changing to a different avatar plugin.
