Support » Plugin: Advanced Sidebar Menu » Conflict with NextGen Gallery image functions

Hello – thanks for this plugin, it is really great! I just came across an unexpected conflict on the WP Admin side with the image prep functions in NextGen Gallery. I upgraded to the 3.6 version, but it didn’t help. I am running WP 3.5.1 and if I deactivate ASM the issue goes away.

Here is the message which pops when I try to run the Rotate Image function in NextGen Gallery:

    Fatal error: Class ‘advanced_sidebar_menu_functions’
    not found in /home/content/j/a/c/ktl2/html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-sidebar-menu/advanced-sidebar-menu.php
    on line 15

I suspect there is a path issue, but I am not sure why this plugin is called while the NextGen functions are running.

I am running the latest version of nextgen gallery 1.9.12.

    Thanks again!

    Hello Mitchell,

I believe I have found the conflict and have released and update which should fix the issue.

Please update to version 3.6.2 and let me know if you have any trouble with it.

I am most grateful for your fast response and patch/update! I installed it and the conflict no longer exists. Thanks again – I’m sure this patch helped make the plugin a little more robust as well!
