Conflict with MailPress

Hi, I recently added MailPress to our site, since doing so Contact7 form no longer works: I get red box when trying to send contact form. If I disable MailPress, or if I deselect ‘MailPress version of wp_mail’ under genera, contact7 works again. Problem is if I do deselect MailPress version of wp_mail, then the email from MailPress loses all our branding template.
Please can anyone confirm if there is any way to resolve this conflict betweeen MailPress and Contact7 in WordPress?
