Conflict with Elementor Plugin

    When the Elementor plugin is active, it disables the ability to edit the front page in the customizer. It also adversely affects the page layouts. Is there a fix or workaround?

    I’ve tried working with the Motopress plugin to use for the visual editing of pages, but it’s bloated clunky slow and not intuitive. Plus there’s no way to edit the html in individual sections. When I switch to wordpress’ page settings to edit html the changes are not saved/applied.

    This is really frustrating. Any help out there?

    I tried dumping the Elementor plugin but I’m now having the same conflict issue with the Motopress visual editor plugin. Motopress sucks but now that it’s having the same issue with theme, this may be the last straw.
