Hello @eytchh
Thank you for reaching out.
Can you please check if Minify is enabled in Performance>General settings and if so, please go to Perfomrance>Minify and enable the option “Disable minify for logged-in users”, save all settings and purge the cache and see if the issue persists?
Thanks!

Hi Marko,
So I checked, and I don’t even have Minify enabled. I’m really only making use of Page Cache and Browser Cache on both sites. Fragment Cache (Disk) as well.
Hello @eytchh
Is Page Caching enabled for logged-in users?
Can you please disable the settings one by one in Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled, and see which one might be causing the issue?
Thanks!

Thank you for the quick reply! After disabling Browser Cache, I was able to edit my Elementor Pages with no issues. Do I need to keep this setting disabled moving forward?
Hello,
Thank you for the info.
Well, this is very interesting. You can keep it disabled, however, then the Browser Cache will not be applied.
I would recommend re-enabling Browser Cache in the General settings, And then go to Performance>Browser Cache and disable the settings one by one, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled, and see which one might be causing the issue, so we can determine which specific setting might be causing this.

Okay, I believe we found the culprit.
When I disabled “Remove query strings from static resources” in Performance > Browser Cache > General, I was able to edit my page. How will disabling this setting affect the way Browser Caching will behave? If it isn’t critical, I will probably just leave it disabled.
Hello @eytchh
Thank you for the information.
The mentioned setting removes the query string for example style.css?ver=4.7.5
In your case, it appears that removing the query string is also removing the functionality. There will be no hits on your performance so you should leave this option disabled!
THanks!
