    Hi,

Today I discovered a conflict between Mollie payments for Woocommerce and multiple Woocommerce discount plugins: Conditional Discounts for WooCommerce and Discount Rules for WooCommerce, when applying cart based discounts.

The fact that this conflict exists with at least two plugins leads me to believe that this is a Mollie plugin problem. Both plugins are probably applying the discounts in the same way and Mollie conflicts with that.

    So, whats happening?
When I have either of the discount plugins enabled and I activate a cart based discount rule, calculating a discount over the cart subtotal amount, Mollie errors out with “Could not create [payment method] payment” (translated from Dutch) when trying to pay for an order.

I’m no sure what hooks these discount plugins and Mollie are using because I don’t have the time to go digging into the code, but I can imagine it’s a conflict in calculation of the order amount that Mollie tries to send to the payment method and the order total amount that the discount plugins are creating.

I would love a fix for this!

    Regards,
    Bas

    Hi @bash88,

    Thanks for letting us know.
We will make some tests with both of the plugins you mentioned and investigate deeper if we can reproduce the behavior.
It might take a few days, but I will try to report back our findings.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
