When I click the “Next” button on /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_configurator, I get this error:

“A problem occurred when saving the current step, please file a bug report describing what step you are on and which changes you want to make (if any).”

How can I fix this?

A bug report is currently open for this issue. If you would like to provide information about your setup or follow the progress of the report, you can do that here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/5928

For now, you can manually setup the plugin by enabling the advanced features. They can be enabled by following the steps here.
