    Hi,

I have been using this plugin with success, but I needed to change the settings after changing mail provider..

I changed the settings, and enabled the encryption of password, and after this, the settings are completely gone from the administration page. The three sheets for settings, additional settings and test mail are completely empty.

I have tried to uninstall the plugin and reinstall, but it is the same. I cannot see nor change the settings anymore..

I hope you can help, thanks

  • Hi, do you know what has changed in your site or server prior to this issue?

    Thank you.

    Thanks for answering.

I changed the configuration for the SMTP host, Username and password.
Afterwards I checked the encrypt password, and saved the changes.. After this the configuration is completely gone. I cannot change anything anymore and the test e-mail is also completely empty.

I tried to deactivate and delete the plugin, and afterwards reinstall it, but the configuration is still gone..

    Thanks.

Hi, can you carry out the following steps. Disable all other plugins, then carry out a test by entering and saving the settings in our plugin. If it works, then you know there is a conflict with one of your other plugins.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

Thanks for replying. I tried to disable all other plugins, but it is still the same. I have nowhere to enter any settings since all the sheets are empty.

There is simply nothing shown under the three settings pages..

Is it possible to completely remove the plugin and start over?

    Best regards

    Hi,

Is it possible to completely remove the plugin and start over?

Go to Settings -> Easy WP SMTP -> Additional Settings and locate the following heading Danger Zone and click on the following button >>> Self Destruct >>>. This should remove the plugin from your site and the database. Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

It is not really possible because the additional settings are completely empty.. It is just an empty page, just lige the two others pages “SMTP settings” and “Test e-mail”

I tried to upload a picture of it here for you to see:

I see what you mean. Can you make sure you have cleared any cache you have active including your browser cache, then check your plugins settings. Also, do you know if anything changed in your server?

    Kind regards
