Configurable link prefix

    Hi,

    We can’t configure a link prefix as before.

    In your What’s new you say

    “Configurable link prefix

    New installs use a /go/ prefix by default so caching layers can skip link traffic cleanly. Existing sites keep the prefix they already have.”

    But we can’t find that in the options.

    Hi Victor,

    Thanks for reaching out. The configurable link prefix is a Pro feature – it wasn’t available in the free plugin in v3, and that hasn’t changed in v4. The What’s new note is aimed at Pro installs, where new sites default to /go/ and existing ones keep whatever prefix they already had.

    If you’re on Pretty Links Pro, you should find it under Pretty Links -> Options -> Links, in the “Pro URL controls” section (labeled “Link prefix”). If you’re on the free version, that setting won’t show up, which would match what you’re seeing.
