Confict with Woocommerce
-
I’m using the free version of Autoptimize on my Woocommerce site.
Recently, one of the settings in this (excellent) plugin has started generating the following error:
Please choose product options for ….
When customers try to select the required size of a variable size product.
When I deactivate AO, the error message disappears.
Can you tell me which setting I need to change to stop this error being generated?
Thanks!

First and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be 🙂

Hi Frank
Thanks.
The error disappears when I uncheck ‘Optimise Javascript code?’
OK, so what are your JS optimization settings?
These are the settings: https://ibb.co/bRMgqGvx
OK, can you disable “aggregate JS files” and “also aggregate inline JS” but indeed have “don’t aggregate but defer” and “also defer inline JS” active, clear caches and test again?
Thanks. That seems to work!
My settings now are: https://ibb.co/qYB9n1GSGreat! It might even be possible to remove the JS optimizations exclusions, the site would be faster for it if that indeed proves to work 🙂
I’ve removed them and the site still works correctly.
Thank you very much for your help! Such speedy, effective support for a free plugin….I’m very impressed.
always happy to help Steve 🙂
