Looks like your right. Sorry, to have wasted your time on this. It’s just a really peculiar case. I mean, wanting to show a submit button if nothing is selected, but then wanting the hide it if something is selected, and hide it again if some other conditions are true… I dunno. Just sounds strange to me. But, fair is fair, you have proven that there is a use case where the “hide” option would make sense. So it’s on the list. I’m only going to include it in the PRO version though, because I like to keep the free version as simple and intuitive as possible.
I don’t see it that way.
In my way of thinking, the initial view of the form should be complete, including the submit button. This is the default situation. I am only hiding it in very limited and specific situations, as I have explained. So, a conditional hide is a sensible approach to this situation.
I have explored other form plugins and all of the ones I have looked at include the Conditional Hide option. I more than happy to pay for it once you have it ready. However, you stated that the initial version did have this option, but you removed it. So, I presumed it wasn’t a big task to put it back.
Anyway, thanks for your support. While we haven’t come up with a solution to my problem, I really appreciate the time you have taken to at least respond back to me.
I’ll close this if you don’t mind. You can follow up on the issue on github https://github.com/pwkip/contact-form-7-conditional-fields/issues/36
