    Hi,

    An equation to get the waited result would be:

    (fieldname1 < 0) ? ABS(fieldname1)+fieldname2 : fieldname2

    Its not working. And there is no zero showing before adding data.

    Hi,

    Your form includes many calculated fields with complex equations. Please, select the calculated field, and uncheck the option for optimize the equation.

    The minute I unchecked “optimize form equation”, it worked like a charm.

    By the way, what does that option do?

    Hi,

    This option try to avoid the chain of equations when the equation of a calculated field includes other calculated fields; but with complex equations the process of optimization can fail.
