Compressing original images

    Hello. I used the bulk image processing and it was successful. But too late I noticed that the “compression source images” switch was turned off.

    Now I have everything optimized except the source images.
    How can I optimize those too? Turning on the switch, and trying again in bulk processing did nothing

    I hope you are doing well.

    Smush should get out of the box the settings once you enable them but I made a test on my lab site and was able to replicate this situation, unfortunately, this seems to be related to a bug in the plugin which is already fixed as part of our refactoring process, I tested the upcoming version and can confirm the original files will be included when using the re-check option in bulk Smush.

    Kindly keep eyes on the upcoming Smush update https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/#developers it will bring the fix for this situation.
