Complianz Statistics cookie

    Hello everybody. I’m not using statistics on my own in my site but Complianz uses (cmplz_statistics). It is displayed in the cookie policy. Do I need to mark it in the asistant? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @nuevaenword ,

    You don’t need to enable statistics in the wizard for this. The cmplz_statistics cookie isn’t a tracking or analytics cookie: it’s set by Complianz itself and is classified as a functional (essential) cookie, because it’s part of how the plugin remembers a visitor’s consent choices and works correctly.

    So even though you’re not using any statistics on your site, it’s normal for it to appear in the cookie policy under the functional category, and there’s nothing you need to mark or change in the assistant.
