    Problem:
Completely empty drafts are not imported (no title, no content), and there’s no explanation as to why the counts (total count and actually imported count) are different.

    Workaround:
Delete all empty drafts from Blogger.

    Suggestion:
I think it would be best to show the exact same total count as one sees on Blogger, so that the user immediately sees that everything was importe. If they cannot, they should be notified about why the counts differ. May be a good idea to either:

    • “Import” them.
    • Suggest deleting them from Blogger.
    • Don’t count them, but notify the user.

The counts shown are those provided by the blogger API.

The idea is that it imports everything and that the numbers are there to show you progress hence why there is no explaination as to why something has not importing. You might find that enabling the debug logging to file will provide more information.

A completely empty draft was not a usecase that’s been tested. I was a little surprised that you could actually do that. It might be that WordPress does not allow that or it might be that it’s been filtered via the API.

Can you explain why you have empty drafts? Is it for some kind of editorical calendar?

    Hello,

    Thank you for explaining!

I had empty drafts unintentionally, probably because I started creating a post/page, then it was probably auto-saved. I tested this now by creating a new page, then saving and then closing it.
