completely disable posts and RSS feed?

    We are running WordPress as a completely static website, not as a blog. Does anybody know which line to “comment out” and which PHP file it is in to disable posts completely? We only use pages.

    Additionally, since we do not have posts, we do not need the RSS feed. I need to comment that out too.

    (I hate to completely delete these as somebody on the board may come along some day and tell me they want to put a blog on their page. But if I simply disable it with hash marks, I could easily restore it some day, if necessary.)
