• I’ve set up a blog at wordpress.com called sauvequipeut. I want to be able to edit the blog a lot – like the page layouts and css. And add other no-WordPress pages to it, like a shop.

    I think I’ve done it all wrong though. I bought a domaine (sauve-qui-peut.com) and added it to my blog after changing the nameservers to WordPress’s. But I’ve not received any FTP info.

    Should I have used WordPress.org instead? All very confusing that there are two WordPress sites.

    Can I havet he control that i want doing it the way I’ve done it? Or do I have to do it through .org? And if so – how to I change the namesevers back to that of my original hosts?

  • With wordpress.COM you just register and start a blog–wordpress.COM handles all the techinical details such as ‘installation’ and upgrade.

    wordpress.ORG, on the other hand, is the organization that distributes WordPress for you to install at your own host.
