compatible 3.9.2 ?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this plugin is compatible for wp 3.9.2 ?
If not, witch plugin could do the same, meaning;
I need a Widget to displays thumbnails grabbed randomly from posts. Each thumbnail is hyperlinked to the post it is taken from or optionally hyperlinked to its post’s category.
