Compatibility with WP 4.9.2 & PHP 7.4

    Just wondering, we are working with our theme developer to update things to go to the latest 5.x version of WordPress but that will be 6+ months out and I would love to migrate from Yoast SEO Premium to Rank Math Pro. We currently have WP 4.9.2 and PHP 7.4.2. Is this possible, will it work – what are my options?

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    Sorry to disappoint you but we do not support the 4.9.2 version of WordPress. As of now, the lowest supported version is 5.6.

    You can have a look at this guide for more details:

    If you wish, you can wait until the website is updated to a higher version of WordPress and then migrate to Rank Math PRO for a smooth experience.

    Ahh, that is too bad. I’m surprised. Can I go to the last version of Pro before it stopped working with WP 4.9.2 by chance until then?

    Hello @itsgotime,

    Sorry to disappoint but our PRO plugin never had support for that version of WordPress so that is not possible.

    Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

    Also, we would advise you to stop using the older version of WordPress as plugins & themes are going to create more issues moving forward as new versions of WP comes out.
