    Hi everyone,

I’m thinking about using buddy press simple events (and buying the pro version) for my current project but I’m not sure if it fits my conditions. I’m a beginner and not very accomplished to all the relations in the backend.

So what I want to do is to create a platform similar to airbnb, where customers are able to create their own events in the frontend (which my “search&go” theme doesn’t allow). This seems to be possible with the buddypress simple event plugin. What I’m wondering about is if this plugin will be compatible with other plugins I am using, for example a login and registration popup plugin, the common buddy press plugin which allows customers to create an account and also if the listing search module which is integrated in my theme could be used in connection with created events in the frontend, although my theme only enables backend created events.
It’s possible that my questions are very specific, but maybe some of you already got some experience.

    Thanks for your time!
    Ani

It sounds like your theme or some other plugin also allows for the creation of events.
If so, there may be a conflict with the name used for the custom post type.
BP Simple Events uses a custom post type called event.

Nobody can guarantee that there will not be a conflict on your particular install.
The best approach is to install this plugin, activate it and see what happens.
If there is a problem – just deactivate it.
