Hi AudeYoucom,
Thanks for your message.
Am I right in understanding that all shortcodes that have been inserted by Visual Composer are stripped from the message body of your notification?
Thanks,
Jack
Hello Jack ,
I’m not sure we will be well understood .
What I mean is that when I activate your plugin , all the shortcodes generated by Visual Composer in the site (pages, acticles … ) are disabled.
Is that clear?
Thank-you for your prompt response.
Hi AudeYoucom,
Ah, I see. Thank you for clarifying.
Can be sure that it’s BNFW that is causing the problem? Do the shortcodes come back if you disable BNFW? Have you tried disabling all other plugins and re-testing with the Twenty Fifteen theme?
Thanks,
Jack
Yes I’m sure, I installed the plugin and all my shortcodes disabled, I disable it and shortcode come back.
I have an other site with exactly the same installation but not installed BNFW and no problem.
So, I think it’s clearly because of it.
Hi AudeYoucom,
Ok, thanks.
I’ll investigate and let you know how I get on.
Thanks,
Jack
Hi AudeYoucom,
I’m using a version 4.7.1 of visual composer. I’m not experiencing any problem.
Hi,
Just wanted to add that this is probably complication of plugins or an older version of Visual Composer issue. I’m not sure which one, but I also have Visual Composer and Better WordPress Notifications and I don’t have this issue.
I’m using the latest (stand alone) Visual Composer version 4.7.4.
I if you are using Visual Compose that came bundled with your theme, it could be the modification the theme developers made to Visual Composer or something from the theme itself in how it is reading Visual Composer elements.
Just chiming in: I haven’t found any issues in my testing either.
I’m going to close this thread for now but if you’re up-to-date with your theme, VC, BNFW, and WP and you’re still experiencing issues, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jack
