Compatibility issues with Gutenberg 22.6.0 | WordPress.org

Hello. Just wanted to let you know that there are compatibility issues with this plugin when Gutenberg 22.6.0 is activated, on the public side of the website the images are loading correctly.

But when making edits of a post in the wp-admin none of the images are being rendered, also the media library is broken.

Probably best to look into this as 22.6.0 will be included in the WP Core shortly and these issues will arise.

This is the issue I am getting: Access to image at 'https://my.cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/img-5360-300x200.jpg' from origin 'https://mydomain.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

@dbisupport fixed the problem, created a plugin in my mu-plugins directory

The file contents is:

<?php /** * Disable Gutenberg client-side media processing. * Fixes CORS errors with WP Offload Media Lite. * Must be a mu-plugin to load before Gutenberg. */ add_filter( 'wp_client_side_media_processing_enabled', '__return_false' );

Hope this helps other people as well with their CORS issues.
