Compatibility issue with Shadowbox JS?

So I’m still on the subject of creating a video gallery page that displays as a regular WordPress gallery, but links to videos that opens in a lightbox when the thumbs are clicked.

At this point I’m looking into Shadowbox JS, which at least is capable of opening videos that are linked to from images alone. However, it doesn’t seem to cooperate with the functionality of this plugin. It loads the lightbox element, but the content never shows up.
