Compatibility Issue with Digital Ocean
-
Hello there,
First of all I liked your theme and it works fine with my Hostinger account. Now, I moved to digital ocean and I found out that it is not working with DO and I am not able to import the demo. It is showing me the error like “object error. Contact theme support”. So can you help me if it is compatible with digital ocean?

Hello @mohsin786,
Thank you for reaching out to us! Could you please confirm whether you are working on a migration or a fresh installation of the theme on the server?
Since there are no issues with the fresh installation, could you share a screenshot of the error you’re experiencing?
Best regards,
CozyThemesHello again,
I do already have a live website with Hostinger and I’m migrating it to Digital Ocean. The migration was done perfectly but I can not edit any template nor publish a post on a site. Furthmore, All migrated pages are pointing to 404 not found however I do have this page live on hostinger.
I’m attaching error screenshot of both; post edit and publishing as well and 404 error page.

Hello @mohsin786,
It would be great if you could share both of your site URLs so we can take a closer look at what’s going on.
Additionally, if you could set the file share link’s expiry to one day, that would be helpful, as we didn’t get a chance to review the screenshot attached above.
Best regards,
CozyThemesHi there,
I’ve checked and both screenshot links are working. I think you might confuse with file name Error and 404 Error at Website name.
Furthermore, I’ve a new update as I’m trying testing this theme with various configurations.
First Case: Created Fresh Droplet (Ubuntu 24.04 (LTS) x64), Used Runcloud.io to Install WordPress, installed Let’s Encrypt SSL by Runcloud, Install and Imported Mighty Plumbers theme. (Everything Works Great).
Second Case: Created Fresh Droplet (Ubuntu 24.04 (LTS) x64), Used Runcloud.io to Install WordPress, Used CloudFlare SSL, Installed Mighty Plumbers but Importing Demo Not Work by Showing as Object Error.
Third Case: Created Fresh Droplet (WordPress 6.4.5 on Ubuntu 22.04), Used CloudFlare SSL, Installed Mighty Plumbers but Importing Demo Not Work by Showing as Object Error.
Third Case: Used the Same Droplet (WordPress 6.4.5 on Ubuntu 22.04) by Installing WordPress on Another Domain, Used Let’s Encrypt SSL, Installed Mighty Plumbers and Importing Also Perfectly Done but All Imported Pages showing as 404 not found error.
First Case Site: https://admissiondgc.in
Fourth Case Site: https://mca.waterheaterrepairflorida.com
So as per my testing, importing issue can be solved by installing SSL at server level but I’m not able to view imported pages on Digital Ocean WordPress Droplet even using serverl level SSL.
The issue can be solved if I continue using DO with Runcloud but as I’m planning to create a big project with this theme with multiple sub domains so it is not possible to continue with Runcloud.
So am I doing something wrong as I will have to continue with WordPress 6.4.5 on Ubuntu 22.04.
Looking forward to your views.
Thanks,
Mohsin
Hi Mohsin,
We apologize for the oversight with the image links!
If you’re encountering 404 errors for the imported pages, it might help to reset the permalink structure after the import. To do this, go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes without modifying any settings. This can often resolve the issue after importing the site data.
If you want to transfer your pages to the new domain, you can use the default WordPress exporter and importer. Here’s how to do it: Exporting Content:
- Go to the WP Admin Dashboard of https://admissiondgc.in.
- Navigate to Tools > Export.
- Choose All Content to include pages, posts, and custom post types.
- Click the Download Export File button to download the XML file containing the data.
Importing Content:
- Now, go to the WP Admin Dashboard of https://mca.waterheaterrepairflorida.com.
- Navigate to Tools > Import.
- Select the WordPress option. If you haven’t installed the WordPress Importer plugin yet, you’ll see an option to Install Now. Once installed, click Run Importer.
- Upload the XML file you downloaded earlier.
Please note: The importer will not transfer categories or tags associated with posts/products, so you may need to handle those separately.
We hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need more assistance, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
CozyThemesHello there,
Thanks for your instructions. However the issue seems to be related with server configuration as it is working fine with Runcloud.
BTW, thanks for taking time to respond.
Best regards,
Mohsin
Hello Moshin,
Thank you for getting back to us. From what you’ve described, it does seem like the issue is related to the server configuration. The theme itself is only responsible for rendering your content and doesn’t handle server-related tasks.Since troubleshooting server configurations from our side is beyond the scope of theme support, we recommend reaching out to your server support team for further assistance. They should be able to help you resolve the issue.
We appreciate your understanding and are here if you have any questions about the theme itself.
Best regards,
CozyThemes
