Comments without approval

    Greetings,
    I have the posts open to all without approval and working correctly. However, I can not get the comments to be open as well. I still need to approve each manually.
    Settings>discussion settings> “Allow people to post comments on new articles” is checked
    “Comment author must fill out name and email
    Users must be registered and logged in to comment “ is not checked.
    “Comment author must have a previously approved comment and Comment must be manually approved” are not checked.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,
