• Hi;

    I just installed WordPress and I have only three pages in the site.
    I want those pages to be “pages” and not posts.
    But I want people to be able to comment on the information on the pages.
    I am not sure why the comments are not working.
    Help!

    Site – http://www.dontvotefordemocrats.org

    Not my site choice, I am doing it for someone else. 🙂

    HELP!!
    Thanks!
    Nancy

  • The comments form seems to be showing properly. What do you mean by not working?

    It shows but no comments come through.

    Did I say help!

    🙂

    By come through, do you mean the comments aren’t displaying on the front-end or they’re not showing up anywhere (including the back-end)?

    Hi;

    they are showing up no where!!

    I’m not sure if this is a template problem or what.

    To check if it’s a theme problem, switch to the default Twenty Eleven theme and try posting a comment.

    It’s the theme!!

    So is there anything I can do or do I need to just change to another theme.

    One note – there is no support on this theme, it was free … they have a purchase option, I wonder if I have to do that.

    thanks!

    It’s your decision. You could try finding a new theme or troubleshooting why that particular theme isn’t working. However, if that theme is having issues, it could mean the original authors aren’t actively maintaining it.

    Here’s the official theme repository if you don’t already know of it:

    Thank you!!!

    I switched to another theme and all is dandy.

    Thanks Again
