i’ve changed the theme for my blog. i’m using the jillij theme which is based on the default template. the comments section doesn’t seem to be working.
i’ve tried replacing the comment.php file with the original from the default theme but it still doesn’t work.
the pop up comments works fine but id prefer to have them on the page.

any ideas what could be wrong? does the comment file need modifying because of the new theme? any help would be much appreciated! (i’ve searched for a while and couldnt find anything similar)

  • There’s something wrong with your single.php template. It’s not getting to the point of loading comments.php. If you look at the page source for a single post, it’s stopping at a <small> tag, just inside your postmetadata div. Look around there for some bad code.
