Comments off error

    I have an entry at the top of my blog and I wanted to keep the comments off. When I posted the entry last night I turned the comments off and didn’t think anything about it. This morning I loaded up my page and noticed the entry below it was linked somehow to the previous entry. I have made the top entry with comments enabled for the time being.
    Any clues as to why this would happen? How do I fix it? I’m using WP 0.72 and have the comments off hack when the post falls off the page enabled. Could it be something to do with that hack?

    SG,
    I dont think it would be related. Could you please explain how it was linked or maybe turn the comments off for the day?

    The entire entry is linked to the category for the current post. Weird! If I turn on the comments it’s formatted correctly.

    Aha…you are missing a closing tag for your category, even for the ones where the comments are active. When the comments are activated, the second href (comments popup) cascades over the first, thus providing the illusion of correct formatting.
