i actually figuured it out affter i posted this the chrome extension scriptsafe was blocking it from running
That’s odd that a chrome extension could create a WordPress notice on your site. Ah well, glad it’s working.

using the latest wordpress default 2014 theme and no comment forms on posts site is Mikeyb2001.com
