Comments not disabled
-
Hi,
Can you post a link to a page where this is happening? Thanks.
Happening here: http://www.paroissemaromme.fr/?page_id=6&calendar_day=2015-01-08&limit=
I arrive on this page clicking on the calendar widget from the main pagedid you try settings at Events > Settings > Pages > Event Pages > Enable Comments =No ?
Of course I tried. Screenshot of the setting is here https://owncloud.polonbike.net/public.php?service=files&t=e90c9b7882a40fae313472c78c7ca4b9 (password: event)
Comment box still theredo you have any caching plugin installed?
none whatsoever
if you already created the events then you need to edit those and disable events.
The link I provided you is a production website, not a sandbox, so I cannot just create and edit.
However, I did what you asked in my test site, and nothing changed (if you could be more precise in your testing requirements next time ?). If there are more than one event on one day, the page listing the events of the day has a comment box. Like here:
http://maromme.flipo.me/?page_id=6&calendar_day=2015-01-29&limit=Do you have comments enabled on pages (not only posts) throughout the rest of your site?
There is no “Turn off comments for pages” checkbox on the current wordpress settings. I installed “no page comment” extension and now the problem is solved.
But you guys still have an issue to solve ! How is such thing happening/possible/… ? If you need more data let me know.thanks for the update however we cannot replicate this issue and it’s working fine on our test site, sorry.

Hi there,
Despite the high quality of this plugin, it seems that one (functionnal) bug has been through all the checks and tests:
Via the parameters, you can disable the comments on the event’s pages, but not on the list of events’ pages.
At the bottom of an event’s page, I can disable the comments. But at the bottom of a day with many events: the comment section still appears !
I cannot find any way to disable this through the parameters.
Could you please include this in the next release ?
Thanks in advance
