Comments lost after upgrade to 2.5

    I just upgraded my wp installation, and now all of my comments are gone. I checked my database, and wp_comments has no data – it just says ‘In Use’.

    I do have a backup of my old database but I’m not sure if I can just copy all the comment info back into the new database?

    Any advice would be appreciated.
