Do you have comments enabled?

Try deactivating your plugins to see if that fixes the problem. If not, leave them off and switch to a default theme to see if they show up there.
Thanks for the reply – I shall check right away and let you know!
Settings Discussion page all looks to be in order.
Another thing I forgot to mention – when you go to the individual posts, there’s no mention of overriding the default comments setting either – and I think there should be.
In terms of deactivating plugins, do I need to do them all? What’s the best way to do it?
Actually, you may want to test another theme first – since that’s probably easier.
Hi there, just tested another theme and hey presto! The comments were there!
Have reverted back now. So how can I get comments to work with my theme?
Thanks so much for all your help!
You’ll have to ask the developers of that theme – doesn’t look like one that is supported here? (Which would be these – https://wordpress.org/themes/ )

Hi folks,
Hope you can help. I’ve just realised that the comments forms are missing from the posts on my website. Not sure how long it’s been like that, but it could be months!
I really need to get them back as I have an important blog post to put on tomorrow – and I need to collect comments on that page.
I tried installing Jetpack to use its comments facility, but the form is still missing from every post.
Any help would be massively appreciated!
