Comments field not showing up?

    Hi, I’ve just created a new WordPress Blog but I can’t figure out how to enable the comments field (so that appears under Blog Posts.

    I haven’t really touched anything so all the Admin settings should be as they were when I downloaded WordPress and the Theme.

    Any help would be very much appreciated – I’m sure it’s something incredibly simple!

    They are not. Go to Settings > General and under Membership uncheck the “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” box!

    I’ve just unchecked that but still no comments field is appearing below the post?

    Not true!
    Clear your cache…
    Try Ctrl+F5

    I may be going mad but it’s definately not there – I’ve checked on Safari, Camino and even Firefox (which I never use and therefore have never viewed that site before)
