Hello,
So I’m using this brilliant plugin on two sites, and it works pretty well. The main issue I’m having is that comments are disabled by default, even if the option “Allow comments on syndicated posts” is selected. When I click the post, go to screen options and turn on comments both the ‘allow comments,’ and ‘allow pingbacks and trackbacks’ are disabled. I’m fine with trackbacks being disabled, but I really want comments. Having to go through and manually enable comments would be tedious and ultimately make syndicating posts obsolete… anyone know how to resolve this?
Another (less pressing issue) is that the posts aren’t responding to the theme; in other words they don’t include excepts and create new pages like they are supposed to — http://floatpodcast.com/blog/ They are just tiling all the posts down in a row, (not creating a read more excerpt and page toggles) and also the sidebar is showing at the bottom of the page, instead of the right side. It seems like the formatting is just wonky. This is probably dependent on the theme, but maybe someone has insight on where to tweak this.
