Comments, Categories, images remain.. no posts

hey all,
I’m not sure what’s causing my problem but last night my page reset back to the default “hello, welcome to wordpress”. The Blogroll reset, categories, comments disappeared. Everything but the images themselves(in the wp-content folder). Also, I should mention that the theme reset too. No I have not done a back-up as the site is 5 days old and I’m still on that learning path. I have tried to restore as much as I can figure out. This morning I found my comments, categories and blogroll were back. It seems kind of random as they were not back before I went to bed. Next to the categories it shows the appropriate number of posts. I am using Blue Host as my provider. Anyone have and ideas on how to recover my posts?
