    Hello,

Yes, our plugin transfers comments as well. It is designed to migrate posts, pages, categories, tags, images, comments, and other available Blogger content to WordPress.

If comments are not appearing after migration, please make sure that comments are enabled on the original Blogger posts and that the import process completed successfully. If you still face any issue, please share more details and we will be happy to assist. Thank you.

Comments are enabled on the original Blogger posts.

But they don’t carry over after migration.

And one more thing: it transfers 429 posts, but there are 466

Thank you for confirming that comments are enabled on the original Blogger posts. If comments are not carrying over after migration, this may indicate a specific issue with the import process or the Blogger export data.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin. To help us investigate further, could you please share:

    • The URL of the Blogger site.
    • The URL of the WordPress site.
    • Whether you imported the full Blogger export file
    • Any error message or migration log shown during the process

I have already deleted the data, this is a clean test site. But now I will repeat and provide a link

If the comments are still not carrying over after migration, please try running the import again after using the plugin’s built-in Danger Zone tool.

The Danger Zone (System Cleanup) option safely removes only the posts, pages, and media files that were imported by this plugin. Your original WordPress database and existing content remain 100% safe.

After cleaning up the previous import, please re-import the complete Blogger content and check whether the comments are transferred correctly.

    Thank you.

    I did it.
Imported from Blogger (436 published posts), result – 429 posts on WordPress, no comments.
Used System Cleanup, imported again. Same result.
    Blogger site – https://www.polissia.eu/
WordPress site – https://www.uredas.com (no styles, no css, but everything is visible.) Everything except comments migrated fine.

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing the details and screenshots.

The BlogPort Migrator for Blogger plugin is working correctly for comment synchronization on many other Blogger sites. In your case, the issue appears to be related to the data available in the source Blogger feed, which is why the comments may not be importing.

Regarding the post count: all available posts have been processed during the import. The difference between 436 published posts on Blogger and 429 posts on WordPress is most likely due to duplicate post detection. The plugin skips posts that are identified as duplicates to avoid importing the same post multiple times.

As a next step, please try importing another Blogger blog as a test and then retry the import for your site. This can help confirm whether the issue is specific to the source feed.

If the comments still do not import, please let me know. I can check the import process further and, if needed, import the data manually and provide the result to you.

Thank you for using BlogPort Migrator for Blogger. If the plugin has been helpful, I would also appreciate it if you could leave a comment and a 5-star rating, as it helps other users as well.

    Thanks again!

Another question. I am doing an import by pasting the Blogger site address into the field. I am unable to paste the link to feed.atom (https://www.uredas.com/feed.atom). I am getting the error: “Error: Invalid XML structure. Please check the URL.”
    Am I doing it right?

How can I import another blog? I don’t have another one, only this one.

P.S. OK, found one, will try.

Yes, you are doing it correctly by pasting the Blogger site URL into the import field.
BlogPort Migrator for Blogger is designed so that you only need to enter the main Blogger blog URL. Once the blog URL is entered, the plugin automatically detects the Blogger feed and starts the import process.
You do not need to use a /feed.atom URL for importing Blogger content.
If you want to use a feed URL directly, please use the Blogger feed URLs below:
You can increase or decrease the max-results=500 value depending on the number of posts or pages in the Blogger blog.
So, in your case, simply paste the main Blogger blog URL, such as https://www.polissia.eu/, into the plugin. There is no need to use /feed.atom.
Thanks for using BlogPort Migrator for Blogger!
