Yes tried this but comments still get published without moderation
Try editing your Comments Box settings on the Facebook Developers site.
If you believe you have found a bug you may browse existing Comments Box bugs or file a new bug against the Facebook Comments Box social plugin.

Thanks, i have settings set to moderate
Let me approve each comment before it appears.
I also have Allow users to post using other login providers. un ticked yet it still allows others like AOL, Yahoo etc
I also use <meta property=”fb:app_id” content=”{YOUR_APP_ID}”> in <head>
